Eötvös Loránd University Hypnosis Lab Collaboration

November 6, 2023

We recently had the pleasure of hosting Bálint and Boglarka from Eötvös Loránd University's Hypnosis Lab for three weeks of collaboration. Academic exchange, new friendships, and exciting experiences marked their visit. They spent time sharing their lab's research, actively participating in a 12-hour hypnosis training for our ongoing study on hypnotizability and generously shared their expertise by training our undergraduate students in administering the Elkins Hypnotizability Scale.

Beyond their contributions to our research, Bálint and Boglarka embraced Texas culture, exploring Austin, visiting the famous Silos at Magnolia, playing disc golf, watching the Bears take on the Cyclones, playing pickleball, and celebrating Halloween with our lab family. Of course, it wouldn't be a trip to Texas without a stop by the shooting range!

Their visit not only advanced our research capacities but also established lasting friendships, fostering exciting prospects for future collaboration in the realm of hypnosis research.
